Nature's Cruelty is a pre-Hardmode accessory which makes ghost minions absorb 25% of damage taken, which reduces the remaining lifespan of the ghost minion.

Notes
- When boosted with the Crown of Blood, ghost minions will take 43.75% of damage taken. This may be considered a downside, as even if you take ~40% less damage, your ghost minions may despawn much faster in a battle where you take many hits.
- The damage to ghost minions calculation uses the enemy's life stat, so enemies which have 15000 health would be able to tank 45000 damage from the player.
- Since enemies slowly lose life over time, Nature's Cruelty will almost always not activate on a maximum health ghost minion.
- So in effect, this means duration increasing accessories do not make enemies have a higher pool of health for Nature's Cruelty; however their health will drain at a slower pace allowing for more potential uses.
