Hellfire (Crimson) (Aequus)
Hellfire (Crimson), also known as Crimson Hellfire, is a stackable debuff applied by several Crimson weapon upgrades from the Demon Siege event. It prevents regeneration and causes the afflicted player to lose 8 health per second, and enemies to lose 8 (+1 per stack) health per second.
Each time this buff is successfully applied, a burning sound will play.
If the enemy is immune to Crimson Hellfire, the enemy will recieve Hellfire instead, unless they are immune to Hellfire aswell, in which case, they will not recieve any debuff.
Stacking
When any weapon attempts to apply Crimson Hellfire, it will check the target already has the debuff, and if it does, add 1 to its stack. Each stack adds 1 damage.
Crimson Hellfire can be stacked up to 200 times, allowing for a maximum potential damage per second of 207.

Notes
- Due to Crimson Hellfire weapons being very inconsistent at applying the debuff, stacking is not as strong as a strategy. These weapons instead deal more damage on average.
- Cauterizer's melee hits are guaranteed to inflict Crimson Hellfire, however due to its speed, it is incredibly slow at doing so.
- Focusing on Critical strike chance can allow for the Bombarder Rod to consistently apply Crimson Hellfire.
