The Nihongo is a Pre-Hardmode Spear Sold by the Wandering Samurai after the Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu has been killed. Holding the weapon will grand the player two clusters of butterflies, which will grant 5 extra defense each. Striking a enemy with the spear will cast a cluster of butterflies to attack the enemy, dealing Frostburn, Shadowflame, and Confused based on the butterflies respective color. Two clusters max can be sent out to attack, but only one cluster can be on a enemy at a time, and the player will lose their extra defense based on how many clusters have been casted. The latest cast cluster can be applied to a different enemy either if the enemy dies or the player attacks another enemy with no butterfly stacks on themselves.
Its best modifier is Godly.
